Island Jungle Resort

Chitwan National Park was established in 1973 and granted the status of a world Heritage site in 1984. Especially popular for one – horned Rhinos, Asian Elephant and many mores animal sightseeing.  . Only six hours drive from Kathmandu, the park lies in the Inner Terai lowlands is mostly famous for wildlife adventure activities of different kinds like jungle safaris on elephant backs or jeeps, bird watching, canoe rides and jungle walks.

Island Jungle Resort is an eco-friendly resort. It’s accomodation are comfortable with well equipped tiny huts located individually. With its exclusive location, the resort provides a serene environment, wonderful views of the Narayani River and its surrounding jungle which provides the perfect ambience to spend quality time with loved ones. On some mornings, herds of rhinos can also been seen drinking water from the river bank across the resort.

Option 01: Program for Drive in /Drive out – 03 Days

Day 01: Kathmandu/Chitwan drive
Drive to Chitwan by private vehicle ( approx 5 hrs drive) Upon arrival, check in at the Lodge After lunch , time permitting Tharu Village Tour Evening Slide Show Presentation Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Accommodation: Island Jungle Resort & Included Meals: Lunch and dinner

Day 02: In Chitwan
Full day jungle activities including jungle safari on elephant back or Jeep Safari , bird watching tour and jungle walk Evening Tharu Cultural Dance Show Dinnmer and overnight at the lodge
Accommodation: Island Jungle Resort & Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner

Day 03: Chitwan/Kathmandu drive
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu (approx 5 hrs drive)

Option 02: Program for Fly in /Fly Out – 03 Days

Day 01: Fly from Kathmandu/ Chitwan
Fly from Kathmandu Bharatpur Airport ( 20 mins flight) Upon arrival at Bharatpur Airport, drive to Lodge ( 1 hr drive) and check in at the Lodge After lunch , time permitting Tharu Village Tour
Evening Slide Show Presentation Dinner and overnight at the lodge
Accommodation: Island Jungle Resort & Included Meals: Lunch and dinner

Day 02: In Chitwan
Full day jungle activities including jungle safari on elephant back or Jeep Safari , bird watching tour and jungle walk Evening Tharu Cultural Dance Show Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 03: Fly from Bharatpur to Kathmandu
After breakfast, transfer to Bharatpur Airport ( approx 1 hrs drive) for flight back to Kathmandu Included Meals: Breakfast
